As announced by the central government, all above 18 Years are eligible for vaccination in phase-3, and you may be wondering how you can register yourself for the same? Our short guide will provide you with all the information.
Where to Register?
To get a Vaccinated, register on the CoWIN platform or Arogya Setu App Who are 18 & above from 28th of April.
You have to book Appointments in advance as there is no walk-in facility available.
In Phase I and II, whosoever can register for you, but in Phase III, you are only allowed if you have registered for yourself.
Step-by-Step instruction for registration via CoWIN
Login
- Visit cowin.gov.in.
- Tap on “Register/Sign In yourself.”
- Enter your mobile number and hit on Get OTP.
- You’ll receive an OTP on your mobile phone, enter the OTP in the given space and click “verify.”
- Once the OTP is verified, the Registration page will appear.

Register yourself
- Enter all the required details, including your name, gender, DOB, and photo of an ID Proof.
- Once the details are entered, click on “Register.”
“Schedule Vaccine Appointment”
- Once you are registered, you will get an option to schedule your appointment.
- Enter your area “Pincode” and click on “Search.” All the available centers in your area will be shown. Select the date and time and click on “Confirm.”

Confirmation of Appointment
- You can also download the appointment confirmation slip.
- The appointment is also shared on the registered mobile number via SMS.
After your Covid-19 vaccination is completed, you will get a Reference ID through which you can get your Vaccination Certificate.

- On the home screen of the app, click on the “CoWin Tab.”
- Select “Vaccination Registration” & enter the mobile number.
- Then enter the generated OTP and click “Verify.”
- You will be directed to the Registration Page of Vaccination.

You can Register for vaccination using any of the following documents.

Apply to donate Blood/Plasma
As per the order issued by NBTC Director Dr. Sunil Gupta, a person can donate blood for the next 28 days after taking the last dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
As all the adults are becoming eligible for vaccination, many doctors and blood banks speculate that this might create a significant crisis due to a shortage of blood and have appealed to the masses to donate blood/plasma before getting vaccinated.
