Amazing Romantic places To visit  in  Kashmir


The capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar is famous for its houseboats, Mughal gardens, and beautiful lakes.  The Dal Lake, with its houseboats and Shikaras, is particularly romantic.  The Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh are gorgeous Mughal gardens that offer tranquil and beautiful settings. 


Known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” Gulmarg is a hill station surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush greenery.  Take a gondola ride together to enjoy the picturesque views. It’s also a great destination for couples who enjoy skiing. 


Another must-visit place in Kashmir is Pahalgam. Which is surrounded by thick forests, vast meadows, and snow-clad mountains.  It's a serene and beautiful place ideal for nature walks and picnics. 


Known as the 'Meadow of Gold,' Sonamarg is a beautiful valley at the bank of Nallah Sindh.  The scenic landscapes, snow-covered peaks, and the opportunity for trout fishing make it an ideal romantic destination. 

Betaab Valley 

Located near Pahalgam, this valley got its name from the Bollywood movie Betaab which was shot here.  It’s a very popular spot for couples due to its lush greenery, crystal clear streams, and breathtaking mountains in the background. 

Dachigam National Park 

For wildlife enthusiast couples, this national park is located 22 kilometers from Srinagar. It offers a serene environment with the possibility of spotting the Hangul deer and other wildlife. 


A relatively less crowded destination. Yusmarg is a meadow surrounded by snow-capped mountains.  It’s a perfect place for couples looking for solitude and scenic beauty. 

Nigeen Lake 

Less crowded compared to Dal Lake. Nigeen Lake offers equally charming views and houseboat stays.  It's an ideal place for couples looking for peace and tranquillity. 

Mughal Road 

Take a drive along the historic Mughal Road  Which was once used by Mughal emperors to travel to Kashmir.  The road offers stunning views of the Pir Panjal range.
