For drivers and fleet owners looking to switch to electric, the buying decision is not just about the vehicle; it is about daily earnings, uptime, and total cost of ownership. The auto battery rickshaw that runs the longest, charges the fastest, climbs the steepest road, and requires the least maintenance is the one that earns the most. The TVS King EV Max has been engineered with precisely that calculus in mind.

Auto Battery Rickshaw Price: What Does the TVS King EV Max Cost?

The auto battery rickshaw price for the TVS King EV Max is competitive. On-road costs, which include RTO registration charges, insurance, and applicable state taxes, will vary depending on the city and state. Operators in many states are also eligible for subsidies under the PM E-Drive scheme and state-level EV incentive programmes, which can meaningfully reduce the effective acquisition cost.

The Motor and Battery: Built for All-Day Running

The King EV Max is powered by an 11 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers a class-leading peak torque of 40 Nm. This directly translates to confident pickup in city traffic and on inclined roads, with a 0–30 km/h acceleration of just 3.7 seconds.

The 9.2 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery is rated for a certified range of 179 km on a single charge. For an operator running typical urban routes, this is enough for a full working day without an intermediate top-up. Charging is handled by a 3 kW off-board portable charger and comes with theft-proof protection and fits within a lockable glovebox inside the cabin.

Engineering for Indian Road Conditions

The King EV Max has been designed for India's roads, not around them. A 31% gradeability rating means it handles steep inclines without strain, an important capability in hilly cities and areas with significant flyovers or ramps. A 500 mm water wading capacity ensures uninterrupted operation during monsoon conditions.

Ground clearance stands at 185 mm (unladen), and the suspension uses a leading arm with coil spring at the front and a hydraulic damper trailing arm with coil spring at the rear. The 120/80 R 12 radial tubeless tyres offer stable road grip and reduced puncture risk.

Drum brakes on all wheels are individually controlled and include a regenerative braking system, which recovers kinetic energy during deceleration and feeds it back to the battery, extending range with every stop.

Connected, Comfortable, and Practical

The King EV Max is the first electric three-wheeler in India to feature industry-first Bluetooth connectivity with SmartXonnect technology via the Apnaa TVS app. Operators gain access to turn-by-turn navigation, remote charging status, incoming call alerts, live vehicle tracking, ride history, geo-fencing, and fleet management.

The cabin is built for long working days. Extra headroom and legroom for the driver, large ORVMs for wide rear visibility, a flat floorboard, twin lockable glove boxes, a USB mobile charging port, and a foldable tumble seat that doubles as additional luggage space all contribute to a vehicle that treats the driver's comfort as a business asset, not an afterthought.

When evaluating an auto battery rickshaw  in 2026, the total picture matters: range, reliability, charging speed, gradeability, driver comfort, connectivity, and after-sales support. The TVS King EV Max addresses all of these with an engineering rigour consistent with TVS Motor's decades of three-wheeler expertise. At an auto battery rickshaw price starting at ₹2.95 lakh (ex-showroom), it offers operators one of the most complete and well-supported electric three-wheeler propositions in the Indian market today.
