Child Safety & Minor Protection

The Awaken Buddha ("TAB"), operated by House of Cre8r, is committed to keeping children and young people safe. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE") and for any content or behaviour that endangers a minor. This policy sets out our standards, the protections we build for users under 18, and how anyone can report a concern.

The following are strictly prohibited on TAB and will result in immediate action:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any content that depicts, describes or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
• Sexualisation of minors in any form, including drawings, AI-generated imagery, or text.
• Grooming — building a relationship with a minor to exploit or abuse them.
• Sextortion, solicitation of sexual content from a minor, or sharing a minor’s private/intimate content.
• Endangerment — encouraging minors toward self-harm, dangerous acts, or contact with predators.

• Immediately remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
• Preserve relevant evidence as required by law.
• Report to law-enforcement authorities and relevant child-protection hotlines (for example the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and India’s cybercrime authorities).
• Cooperate with valid legal requests from authorities investigating child safety.

You must be at least 13 years old to use TAB. Users under 18 are treated as minors and receive additional protection. We do not knowingly permit accounts for children below the minimum age, and we remove them when identified.

• Users under 18 may use TAB only with the verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to our Terms on the minor’s behalf.
• Parents and guardians can review, correct or delete their child’s data, or withdraw consent and close the account, by contacting us.
• We encourage parents to explore TAB together with their child and to use the safety tools described below. See also our Privacy Policy.

For users we know or reasonably believe to be under 18, we apply extra safeguards:

• No behavioural tracking, profiling or targeted advertising directed at minors.
• Data minimisation — we collect only what the service genuinely needs from a minor.
• No features that broadcast a minor’s precise location.
• Recommendations shown to minors are based on content relevance, not cross-service tracking.
• Prompt review and removal of content or contact that is inappropriate for minors.

TAB gives every user — including minors — tools to stay safe and in control:

• Report — flag any post, comment, profile or collection for review.
• Block & mute — stop specific users from interacting with you or appearing in your experience.
• Privacy controls & notification settings in Settings.

If you see content or behaviour that endangers a child, report it right away using the in-app report option, or email us directly at editor@theawakenbuddha.com with the subject line “Child Safety”. Reports are treated as urgent and confidential.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first.

We designate a responsible point of contact for child-safety matters. Concerns and legal requests can be directed to our Grievance Officer, Sauravsingh Tomar, at editor@theawakenbuddha.com. We acknowledge child-safety reports as a priority and act on valid reports promptly.
