Cookie Policy

The small files that keep you signed in and help TAB work — and how you stay in control of them.

Effective 14 July 2026Last updated 20 July 2026House of Cre8r

This document is written in plain language to be clear and fair. It is a policy, not legal advice.

01

What this covers

This Cookie Policy explains how TAB uses cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies ("cookies") on our website and apps. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

02

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files or data entries stored on your device by a website or app. They let a service remember things between visits — for example, that you are signed in — and help it work correctly, stay secure and improve over time. Similar technologies include browser local storage and mobile device identifiers.

03

The cookies we use

We keep this minimal. TAB uses:

  • Strictly necessary — to sign you in and keep your session secure (for example, an authentication token), to remember preferences such as your light/dark theme, and to protect against abuse. The service cannot work without these.
  • Functional — to remember choices you make, such as your reading history or dismissed prompts, stored locally on your device.
  • Analytics & performance — to understand, in aggregate, how TAB is used and to diagnose crashes, so we can fix problems and improve. We use these in aggregated or pseudonymised form where practical.
04

What we don’t do

We do not use cookies for third-party behavioural advertising, and we do not sell data collected through cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies directed at users we know to be under 18.

05

Third-party cookies

Some features rely on trusted providers (for example Google for sign-in and push notifications). These providers may set their own cookies when you use those features, governed by their own policies. See the list of providers in our Privacy Policy.

06

Managing cookies

  • You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser or device settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from staying signed in and may break parts of TAB.
  • You can control push notifications and other preferences in Settings.
  • On mobile, you can reset or limit advertising identifiers through your device’s privacy settings.
07

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as TAB evolves. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above.
